What do you think are the most important factors I need to keep in mind while starting my own event planning business?
I am a full-time working mom with husband. This business would be mine I would not be sharing the work with anyone. I understand that it could become overwhelming but I’m assuming work will not be booming at first.

I’m 13 but I’ll be 14 in 1 month. I am good at planning kids parties and thats what I want to do. I want a kids party planning business. I’ve always been an entrepenuer and please don’t say I’m to young! I need some advice!

I opened a collage 529 savings plan for my child. Several reletives have contributed money to the account. I am worried that the IRS will ask me how a got the money.

I want to set my Amazon orders to automatically make invoices in Quickbooks and fill out shipping labels in Paypal. The cheaper the better, but free is best.

So I would love to start my own event planning business, mostly birthday parties, engagement parties, etc. I just don’t know where to start. I don’t have a business degree and I am worried people wouldn’t want my services knowing that. What kind of information are people looking for when getting help to plan parties?

Is there a good accounting software that matches QuickBooks that is free? I run a small business and the QuickBooks ads and fees are getting to me. Any free software that matches or is better than QuickBooks out there?

With quickbooks, online version in paticular, WITH a merchant services account how does money recieved through website by QB merchant get deposited into a local bank account? Is this part of the integration process? Does quickbooks charge customer’s card and deposit money into whichever account you program it to?

My best friend and I are thinking about starting our own business. We are both busy moms and we also love to plan parties among our friends, so what better job to have than something we both love to do? Our main concern is if we need to have any kind of license or be registered anywhere to start servicing customers!
