What Do I Need To Start My Own Event Planning Business?

I am really interested in starting a business like that. I want to start small, but in an acertive way so, wat are the things I need ? Is it expensive?
I studied in another country, but I know the business, what i don’t know is how to start my own business.
I live in the southern California area.

    a) your target customers
    b) how to reach them?
    c) projected reveue, estimate cost (monthly to start)
    d) what do you need to provide this service?
    e) anyone else doing this as well (competitor(s))?

    Start with a plan.
    Get some ideas of business expenses – that would be numbers.
    Figure out what you need to live on and how are you going to support yourself while the business is growing.
    Now, contact your nearest Small Business Development Center and take the next class they have on starting a business. These centers are all over the country with trained professionals that can help you get your business idea off the ground.
