but i have found that word of mouth is the best way.
make sure you let your current customers know that you appreciate their business and that referrals would be appreciated too.  but never push the issue or seem desparate.</description>

		<description>One person had a sign in her front yard (check with your city zoning department). Because she was on a moderately busy street, that pulled in enough traffic to keep her busy. (She was an ex-H&amp;R Block employee) Word of mouth worked for the rest of the time. Also, undercutting H&amp;R&#039;s prices helped.</description>
